Tell us about yourself:
I grew up in Southeast Michigan my whole life, I studied at the University of Michigan where I started to become much more interested and passionate about my background and Korean culture, and graduated in 2023. There, I was able to make connections with other Korean Americans and now have a very close knit group of Korean American friends from school. I moved to Chicago in January 2024 for work in tech sales. I've enjoyed the city very much since I've moved and have been grateful for the wonderful people I've met so far. I also have naturally very curly hair! (no 파마!)
You’ll likely KAtCH me doing the following:
You'll likely KAtCH me going to the gym, training for the Chicago Marathon 2025, or anything active, I also love going thrifting, reading, and trying new restaurants and cafes around the city.
Why do you enjoy being involved with the KAtCH community?
I really enjoy being involved in a large community of others with similar backgrounds and experiences. It's extremely comforting and enriching to socialize and learn from others like me through a wide range of events.
